CLIFF RICHARD Summer Holiday (Rare original 1963 Elstree Extra Range label promotional only double LP set - this 'Special Presentation' double vinyl LP of the original soundtrack was limited to just 80 COPIES and they were presented individuallyto the cast & crew only - this was the personal copy of Brian Bennett, the Shadows drummer, as written in pen on the label in the space after 'With Best Wishes To...'. This was the first recording of the Elstree Extra Range (e.e.r.) Sound with the next being the similar release for 'Wonderful Life', which was a run of 150 copies.

It's a double LP with sides 1 & 3 coupled together and Side 2 backed with a plain unplayable side.

On each of the 3 playable sides, there is the wording 'With Best Wishes To' then a blank space for the recipient's name to be entered. In this particular case, the name 'Brian Bennett' is entered in blue pen on side 1.

The labels have superb red 'e.e.r.' logo around the rim with blue lettering giving further details including notice of 'Special Recording Limited To 80 Copies - Not For Sale'.

The condition of the vinyl is exceptionally good for a record of this age and rarity - Side 2 seems unmarked and although there are some surface marks on sides 1 & 3, these have come from being stored in the cardboard sleeve in the past without protective inner sleeves rather than any usage/bad handling. Both records are now in polylined inners.

The single pocket lamintated flipback title sleeve is in stunning MINT condition, with the white background clean, crisp and unmarked which makes the red & blue lettering stand out.
