Please Please Me - Decca

THE BEATLES Please Please Me (Extremely rare 1963 UK Decca contract press 14-track mono LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label with 'Recording First Published', without 'Sold In UK' and with 'The Parlophone Co' label perimeter text, 'Emitex' poly lined inner & front laminated flipback Ernest J. Day sleeve. These subcontracted pressings were to cope with the incredible demand & have a noticable 'deep groove' label ridge 15mm in from the outer edge. The sleeve shows just a littlelight shelfwear with a little minor laminate creasing. The unlaminated back is still mainly white & the spine is clearly readable. The vinyl remains in wonderful condition with very little sign of play. Pretty much as good as it gets! PMC1206)
