LED ZEPPELIN Circus Magazine Award (Unique 1979 award presented to Led Zeppelin by US magazine 'Circus' to recognise the band's success in their annual reader's poll that year [Robert Plant was voted 'Man of the Year' too!], in the form of a Shure 'Unidyme III 545SD Dynamic' microphone. It measures 6ΒΌ" in length, with a diameter of 4" tapering down to 3" at the pin end with a black enamel band just below the grille engraved in white. The chrome on the body has some light scuffing,however it remains in wonderful condition with a lovely patina of age - a stunning, authentic one-of-a-kind item purchased from the estate of Zeppelin's legendary manager, the late Peter Grant)
