Following the chart-topping success of Can't Get You Out Of My Head, released in the UK in September 2001 reaching the coveted No.1 position, this 'naughty but nice' Radio Slave remix was commissioned featuring an unauthorised sample of Roxy Music's Angel Eyes. Accordingly it was not commercially released but a select few high-profile top-name DJ's were serviced with acetate versions of the remix for exclusive club and radio airplay.

The label copy on this 12" incorrectly shows the title as 'Can't Get You Of My Head' and is type printed on each side. The Radio Slave name has been hand-written beneath.

Acetates are fragile formats and do not withstand heavy use or repeated plays. We have very carefully audio-graded this one. The intro has audible crackle and a very slight edge warp, but plays without skips or jumps. This is a loud cut and bearing in mind it was only intended for about a dozen plays in a club environment it has survived remarkably well. It's by no means perfect, but the remix is exclusive and as far as we know there's no other way to hear these particular remixes.

Arguably the most famous of all studios, Abbey Road acetates have a beauty all their own and are highly prized among collectors.
