THE BLUE THINGS The Blue Things (US limited edition 12-track stereo LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL, originally released in 1966; The Blue Things were one of the biggest bands to emerge from the Kansas folk scene in the mid 60s, molding their sound along the lines of '65-era Dylan-inspired Lennon, with singer Val Stecklein writing superb songs, matched by the musicianship of Richard Scott, Mike Chapman and Bobby Day - by the time their only LP was released, they'd moved on to psychedelia, but this is a great collection of garage-tinged folk rock!)
