THE BEATLES/VARIOUS The Beatles - Beginnings/The Liverpool Scene (1989 US USP Network 4-LP vinyl radio show comprising two programmes aired as part of the 'British Invasion' series. The first focuses on the early days of the Beatles and includesinterviews with all of the Fab Four, Pete Best and John's sister Julia Baird alongside many classic tracks. The second covers the Merseybeat phenomenon and includes contributions from John Lennon, Billy J. Kramer, Gerry Marsden, Pete Best andmembers of the Searchers. Both 2-LP sets are housed in custom single pocket picture sleeves complete with cue sheets. Total running time approximately three hours, first broadcast over the weekends of June 2nd and 9th '89)
