THE DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET featuring PAUL DESMOND On The Radio: Live 1956-57 (2008 UK CD album which captures the evolving Brubeck Quartet; and comprises live radio broadcasts made from clubs where the band was appearing; 13 tracks come from two gigs at the Basin Street Jazz Club in New York City in February 1956; and a further 3 tracks were recorded at The Blue Note, Chicago in March 1957. The recordings include the announcer's intros, which provide the context & atmosphere of theclub / radio environment, and emphasise the unique 'live' one-off flavour of the performances.)
