ART TATUM Solo Masterpieces Volume 7 (1977 UK red & gold Pablo label 9-track MONO vinyl LP, recordings made in Los Angeles from 1953-1955 at the peak of his powers [wasn't he always?], produced by Norman Granz. A marathon session of 121 piano solos, of which 9 are presented here, were recorded in these years for Granz's Verve label. It is this volume that showcases some of the most surprise choices in the master's repertoire [including a blinding version of Dancing In The Dark]and thus comes highly recommended! Front and back laminated picture sleeve in near mint condition)
