VARIOUS Black California - The Savoy Sessions (1976 US Savoy logo label 28-track double LP, compiling a huge cast of star jazz players including Sonny Criss, Slim Gaillard, Roy Porter Big Band with Eric Dolphy, Helen Humes, Harold Land, Hampton Hawes and Art Pepper, all selections recorded in Los Angeles in the late 1940s, early '50s, glossy gatefold picture sleeve with extensive liner notes from Patricia Willard. The deletion punch-holed sleeve shows only light sheflwear and the vinyl shows light signs of play SJL2215)
