ROBERT JOHNSON The Complete Recordings (2008 Japanese exclusive limited edition 3-CD album set, compiling the entire recorded legacy of possibly the most reknowned blues guitarist of all time - on the 23rd, 26th & 27th November 1936, Johnson recorded 16 songs in the Gunter Hotel, San Antonio, Texas; 6 months later, on the 19th & 20th June 1937, another 13 songs were recorded in a Dallas, Texas warehouse [both sessions were instigated by the American Recording Company]. This release gathers together all 29 recordings [plus alternate takes], presented in mini LP-style card picture sleeve + obi strip, more details to follow...)
