LOUIS ARMSTRONG Plays W.C. Handy - Factory Sample (Early 1960s UK 'rough' textured black and silver Philips FACTORY SAMPLE stamped label 11-track MONO vinyl LP in the Giant Jazz Gallery series. Features Velma Middleton on vocalsas they whip through a superb set of songs penned by the man who so rightfully earned his soubriquet ''The Father Of The Blues''. Opens with the historic St. Louis Blues, all recordings dating from 1954. The sleeve has slight laminate removal through storage and some slight creasing, whilst the vinyl appears barely played BBL.7445)
