Joe Jackson was one of the pioneers of the leading British-based
artists that challenged the punk scene and brought a New Wave sound
to the United States in the late 1970s. He hit thecharts both sides of
the Atlantic with his debut album 'Look Sharp!' which garnered him top
20 singles and 2 Grammy nominations. 4 albums quickly followed;
'I'm The Man' (1979) 'Beat Crazy' (1980) 'Jumpin Jive' (1981) and the
top 3 album 'Night and Day' (1982). This compilation of recordings is
taken from the BBC's archives who caught a snapshot of the artist at
