BILLIE HOLIDAY The Lady Lives (1973 US 12-track LP on ESP-Disk with purple picture labels, featuring previously unreleased recordings that were made for broadcast between 1949 & 1952. As with all recordings by Lady Day, each note is made to count as she broadcast to an America that forbid her work in her own home town. The pasted picture sleeve shows some light age wear scuffing with a vintage Dobells UK price sticker on the back. The vinyl grades VG+/EX- with just light cosmetic signs of play. A nice copy of these rare tracks by a Jazz Vocal legend ESP-3002)
