KISS Collection Of Tour Passes (Stunning set of TEN genuine unused and unissued Tour Passes manufactured by the U.S backstage company Otto, this set comprises of passes from three different tours including one from the 'Animalize World Tour 84-85', 'Hot In The Shade' 1990 tour and 'Revenge World Tour' 1992. These were printed in small quantities on adhesive cloth with a removable paper backing, this set has the 'OTTO' logo and address clearly printed on the back on the intact paper. Otto were responsible for supplying the majority of passes throughout the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's)

As mentioned in the main description this set includes passes from three different tours, inclues:

Animalize World Tour 84-85
One rectangular pass featuring a claw mark image with ladies fingers coming through the marks with long red nails on a white background, in the top left corner is the red 'Kiss' logo and 'VIP' black text down the left side; in the bottom right corner is the 'Animalize' red text and 'World Tour 84-85' text also in red, this pass has a yellow border.

Hot In The Shade 1990 Tour
Three square passes each featuring identical design including an 'A' in the top left corner with 'Kiss' below, the 'Hot In The Shade 1990' logo and 'After Show' all in white along with a black white space for name/ID in the bottom right corner, each pass is a different colour - green, red & orange.

Revenge World Tour 1992
There are six passes for this tour with two different types but all feature the same design including an Alien/Statue Of Liberty image with 'Kiss' at the top, 'Revenge' below and 'World Tour 1992' all in white, along with a blank space for a name/ID to be written. Includes two rectangular for 'Support' in blue & orange, and four square for 'After Show' in blue, orange, red & green.

Each pass has retained the original peelable backing with manufacturer 'Otto' logo and address details, confirming these to be genuine passes.

Information On Passes
The passes would have been custom manufactured on adhesive backed rayon acetate satin cloth with a removable paper backing, the early versions simply had a plain backing but soon started to have the manufatures name/logo and sometimes the address printed.

Bands touring multiple cities and large venues had their passes printed on large sheets, with layouts featuring multiple designs including different colour combinations plus details for different tour staff and areas of access.

Only a few are then cut into the different shapes so that there is no waste. Usually at the end there some printing overruns, set-up sheets, color test prints, printer's proof sheets, and discarded misprints which are usaually destroyed but some do survive and are very rare and are highly collectable.
