Abbey Road - Toshiba/EMI

THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Extremely rare 1985 Japanese Toshiba/EMI pressed 17-track CD that was uniquely mastered in Japan for home market use & consequently exhibits very different sonic characteristics to the later pressings when the CDs wereremastered by EMI & issued worldwide. This CD bears the matrix number of CP35-3016-1 & 1A1, indicating a Toshiba/EMI press, with text below the EMI Odeon logo. This copy is complete with the original sixteen page Japanese/English lyric booklet&has 'Her Majesty' credited on both disc & inner sleeve. These Japanese originals are now highly sought after by collectors as they are considered to be sonically superior to the alternative generic EMI mastered worldwide issues that hit the streets some four years later CP35-3016)
