ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK The Boat That Rocked (2009 UK 36-track 2-CD soundtrack album set - Written & directed by Richard Curtis [Four Weddings & A Funeral, Love, Actually], the eponymous Boat is Radio Rock, a pirate radio station broadcastingfrom a fishing boat in the North Sea in the 60s, when pop music was branded a danger to the public conscience and rock DJs as outlaws. Bringing together some of Richard Curtis' favourite songs, many of which have never been cleared for soundtrack usage before, the soundtrack is truly integral to the movie. Compiled by Curtis himself, 'The Boat That Rocked Movie' Soundtrack features some of the greatest songs from the 60's and 70's, as well as the odd gem from the 80's [Bowie's 'Let's Dance']. A new version of 'Stay With Me Baby' performed by Duffy, meanwhile, provides the backdrop to one of the film's most poignant moments.)
