STATUS QUO Spare Parts (2009 issue UK 'Deluxe Edition' 28-track digitally remastered 2-CD album set - Released in 1969, 'Spare Parts' was the Quo's second album and the final album in the psychedelic vein. It is also the first in which the group's roadie Bob Young began writing and co-writing songs for and with the band; and finds them covering a number of songs by Carole King, including 'You're Just What I Was Looking for Today' & 'Velvet Curtains'. This remastered edition comes expanded with a Bonus CD including unreleased material. Presented in a deluxe fold-out digipak picture sleeve complete with a picture booklet containing brand new sleevenotes by David Wells, rare photos and memorabilia, housed in a plastic slipcase)
