The album was recorded in two sessions at Ray Davies' KonkStudios and is a celebration & underpinning of what has been learned from the Jazz pioneers of the previous fifty years, set to a more traditional song form. Tommy Chase has long been a celebrated leader of the hard bop movement that sowedthe seed for the later Acid Jazz revival & this session does not disappoint.
