A summer jazz extravaganza led by a one-off CTI supergroup, containing a total of 13-tracks recorded live at the Hollywood Bowl by Wally Heider on July 30th 1972. Each part housed in its respective glossy and embossed gatefold sleeves with deletion saw-cut corners, all in stunning condition. As for the line-up, a veritable who's who of Creed Taylor's star players: Ron Carter, Jack DeJohnette, Hubert Laws, George Benson, Bob James,Deodato, Johnny Hammond, Airto, Grover Washington Jr, Joe Farrell, Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, Milt Jackson and Esther Phillips... phew!
