Contains historic recordings from Charlie Parker, Hot Lips Page's Band starring Ike Quebec, the Buck Ram All-Stars featuring Red Norvo & Cozy Cole and many more, all recorded in 1944 and including twelve previously unissued performances. Gatefold picture sleeve with deletion saw-cut corner and extensive details printed inside, which won the 1977 Grammy Award for best album notes. Still factory sealed from new in its custom stickered shrinkwrap, mint and unplayed SJL2208)
