HEATWAVE Too Hot To Handle / Central Heating (2010 issue UK 24-track 2-CD album set - Heatwave was formed in the UK by two US servicemen, Johnnie Wilder and his brother Keith, Spaniard Mario Mantese [bass], Czechoslovakian Ernest 'Bilbo' Berger [drums], Jamaican Eric Johns [guitar] and Briton Roy Carter [guitar] and from Cleethorpes, Rod Temperton on keyboards. This 2-disc set comprises their 1977 debut album 'Too Hot To Handle' featuring the singles 'Boogie Nights', 'Too Hot To Handle' and ultimate party 'slow number' 'Always And Forever'; and its follow-up 'Central Heating' [released in May 1978] which boasted the classic hits 'The Groove Line' & 'Mind Blowing Decisions'; both of which are expanded with Bonus Recordings including non-album single tracks as well as three extended versions.
