DON RENDELL QUARTET The Great Don Rendell (Extremely rare 1955 UK tri-centre 4-track 7" EP on Tempo, starring Damian Robinson (piano), Pete Elderfield (bass) & Don Lawson (drums), showcasing the natural talent of Rendell on tenor, recorded with nosecond takes. Includes such standards as You Stepped Out Of A Dream and Slow Boat To China. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve reveals no tears or heavy wear of any sort, with a clearly legible and tape reinforced spine showing no discolouration. The vinyl is near mint, carefully handled by its previous owner with loving care. An incredible find! EXA11)
