DOWN Diary Of A Mad Band (2010 UK 3-disc [1DVD/2CD] set - 'Diary Of A Mad Band' is the long-awaited live set from the New Orleans hard rock quintet who were conceived in 1995 as a side-project for a role call of heavy metal superstars, primarily revolving around Phil Anselmo [Pantera] and Pepper Keenan [Corrosion of Conformity], with the full band being made up of members from Crowbar and Eyehategod. The main feature of this DVD set is a warts-and-all 2-hour documentary that follows the band members 'tearing up Europe' literally and figuratively. The documentary is intercut with full live tracks, the track listing selected exclusively from the band's first two albums, the hard rock modern classic 'NOLA' and the follow-up 'Down II', that were filmed in various cities along the tour, including London, Paris and Hamburg, climaxing with their final stop on the tour; the opening slot on the Main Stage at Download Festival. The set also comes with accompanying CDs that feature a 16-track previously unreleased concert that was recorded at the legendary London Astoria on 30th May 2006, over 100 minutes of additional audio content.
