L'ORCHESTRE DE LA SUISSE ROMANDE conducted by ERNEST ANSERMET The Firebird (Very rare 1955 UK 3-track orange Decca 'Unbreakable Microgroove' ffrr label mono LP featuring the complete version of the magnificent ballet piece, with the required dramatic pauses which are so often omitted in truncated performance & the exhilerating finalé. This version of the piece is highly sought after for that very reason, with early sixties stereo versions changing hands for astronomical sums. This copy is in beautiful condition with immaculate vinyl & the fully laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve showing minimal shelfwear & no age yellowing, with just one tiny bend on the bottom flipback to betray its fifty five years.
