CHARLES MINGUS East Coasting (Scarce original 1959 UK black & gold Parlophone mono LP, in the Bethlehem series. This is one of Mingus' best works of the period. Six tracks of hard bop and modernist playing with the help of some top notch players:Jimmy Knepper [trombone], Shafi Hadi [sax], Clarence Shaw [trumpet], Dannie Richmond [drums] and Bill Evans [piano].
