BENNY GOLSON QUINTET Groovin' With Golson (Scarce 1961 UK original 5-track mono LP on Esquire, recorded on August the 28th, 1959, with Curtis Fuller [trombone], Ray Bryant [piano], Paul Chambers [bass] & Art Blakey [drums]; cracking line-up and great picture sleeve variant to the New Jazz issue. The front laminated flipback sleeve is strictly graded VG as there is chipping/indentation to a one inch portion along the top and more general edgewear to the bottom, otherwise just a littleage related discolouration to the reverse, the super-heavyweight vinyl is a different story showing very light signs of play only - with mint copies regularly fetching £125+ now's your chance to own an original at a fraction of the price!)
