DOLLY PARTON The Fairest Of Them All (Rare 1970 Canadian 11-track LP that many have described as her best ever album, focussing more on her songwriting than the Country Superstar she later became. From the harrowing depths of 'Daddy Come And GetMe' and the empowering heights of 'Just The Way I Am' to the most moving narrative in the Parton canon, 'Down From Dover'. On this album, Dolly is at her creative peak. The pasted picture sleeve shows a little wear & some light discolourationon the back, but the seams are strong & the edges unscuffed, so would be graded VG+/EX-. The vinyl too is in great condition, with just a few light hairline scuffs, and would also be graded VG+/EX-. A nice copy of this rare album, whch didn't actually receive a CD release until 2010, & is very hard to find on vinyl LSP-4288)
