MUSSORGSKY Boris Godunov (1971 UK maroon Decca narrow band label stereo vinyl 4-LP boxed set. Performed by Nicolai Ghiaurov with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Herbert von Karajan. There are three principle versions of Boris Godunov, Mussorgsky's two authentic versions of 1869 and 1872 and Rimsky-Korsakov's revised score of 1896 - this is a performance of the 1896 version. Presented in a glossy book opening record box with 30 page libretto. The box shows light scuffing with a split to the bottom corner, whilst the vinyl appears barely played SET514-7)
