PAUL MCNEILL Children Of The Storm (2010 Swiss 8-track picture CD issued for the European market, originally released on Decca circa 1965, this is first time Lancashire born McNeill's great Irish folk music has been available on CD. Showcasing the talents of a true troubadour of the 60's & 70's folk scene who, before travelling with Alex Campbell around the globe taking his songwriting to the likes of Greece, Turkey, Switzerland and finally Norway, toured with Paul Simon and made waves in the London folk community. Housed in a SEALED picture wallet sleeve reproducing the original artwork, the works of this fine underrated folk singer have finally been captured on CD and should appeal to fans of Simon & Garfunkel, Van Morrison and Neil Young to name just a few!
