SADLER'S WELLS THEATRE conducted by ALEXANDER FARIS Orpheus in the Underworld - Highlights (1960 UK HMV green and gold label stereo vinyl LP. This recording is widely considered amongst the best versions of Offenbach's Operetta, if not the most original - including, as it does, a rock and roll version of the Infernal Gallop. This copy has the highly unusual spearmint green and gold label used on first issues of the record, front laminated picture sleeve with extensive liner notes.CSD1316)
