JOURNEY Career Recognition Award (Official 1983 US Columbia In-House award issued to recognise the support in making the band a success. Presented to American radio station KZEL, widely regarded as one of the most influential free-format stationsof its era, and one of Journey's most ardent media supporters. This nicely framed and glazed award measures 19" x 25" in size, and features a platinum LP with an artwork bar across the top featuring minatures for the Infinity, Evolution, Departure, Captured, Escape and Frontiers albums and the disc has a picture label for the Frontiers. The authentic custom engraved plaque at the bottom has the Coumbia & Nightmare Inc. logos. All mounted on a brown matt background in a silver coloured wooden frame which has 4 discrete mounting drill holes otherwise superb - a stunning unique award!)
