THELONIOUS MONK Thelonious Himself (1958 UK 8-track mono LP, Monk's first release to consist almost entirely of solo material, including his trademark 'Round Midnight', plus 'Monk's Mood', the latter the only recording here also to star John Coltrane on tenor and Wilbur Ware bass. Despite some discolouration to the edges, the laminated scalloped flipback sleeve is otherwise excellent and the vinyl looks barely played LTZ-U15120)
