FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER How To Start A Fire (Scarce 2003 UK 10-track CD issue of the album originally released on Tooth & Nail Records, FULLY AUTOGRAPHED by the emo-rock band from Florida, signed clearly and boldly in black marker across thefront cover of the picture sleeve by Josh Colbert, Derick Cordoba, Chad Neptune, Steve Kleisath [Pull, Shai Hulud] and vocalist for this album only Jason Gleason [who subsequently left to join US indie rockers Action Reaction]. The bandstarted out life as Christian-hardcore heavyweights Strongarm in the mid 90's but after meeting vocalist Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional fame, completely changed tack and went onto create some of the most influential American indie/emo rock, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jimmy Eat World, The Appleseed Cast and Sunny Day Real Estate. Carraba had left to pursue his solo projects by then but this, the band's 2nd album is a fabulous achievement in dynamic, melodic rock and comes highly recommended!
