WILTON 'BOGEY' GAYNAIR Blue Bogey (Rare Brit-jazz 1983 UK Jasmine issue of the even rarer 1959 6-track mono LP, originally on Tempo. Jamaican-born Wilton was a schoolboy contemporary of trumpeter Dizzy Reece and saxist Joe Harriott, and this is one of the few jazz recordings to his name, playing alongside Terry Shannon on Piano, Kenny Napper on Bass and Bill Eyden on Drums. Despite a light corner crease, the sleeve is excellent and the vinyl mint. Originals are well into the three figures, making this a very attractive alternative JASM2016)
