WOODSTOCK 3 Days Of Peace & Music (One of the most astonishing & delightful items to ever pass through my hands & difficult to describe in a way to do it true justice, but here goes ... In 1969 the world witnessed an event that, for a short period of time, seemed to display a new hope to a younger generation raised on the horrors of Korea, Vietnam & the Cuban missile crisis. That was the three day event held at Max Yasgur's dairy farm in Bethel, New York, between August 15th & 18th that year entitled 'The Woodstock Music And Art Fair'. Events at the festival have been documented at great length, the film & soundtrack have been released, so that part is well known. What is less well known is that the organisers produced a fifty four page programme for the event, lovingly crafted in detail & printed on high quality paper stock. What we have here is one of those programmes that, apart from some incredibly minor rubbing to the front & back cover & a little rust staining at the staples, is in astonishing near 'as new' condition. This is NOT a repro, but a 1969 original & the first one that we have ever seen!) Please see 'More Info' for further details ....
