MORRISSEY Swords - Advance (2009 USA 18-track advance promotional sample CD-R acetate, with picture sleeve. A great compilation featuring every B-side to the singles released from You Are The Quarry, Ringleader Of The Tormentors, and Years Of Refusal, and is some of Morrissey best and probably most underrated work. Tracks like Dont Make Fun Of Daddys Voice, Teenage Dad On The Estate, and Its Hard To Walk Tall When You're Small are poigniant and striking but still maintaining the trademark sarcasm of Morrisseys lyrical delivery, and that coupled with the signature indie-meets-punk-meets-rockabilly guitar playing of Boz Boorer makes for fantastic listening. A great compilation and a great collectors item for any Morrissey fan)
