COLEMAN HAWKINS A Documentary (Rare 1956 US deep groove mono double LP on a blue & silver 'reel & mic' Riverside label, released as part of the Jazz Archives series. Documents the life and times of the great jazzman, recorded in his own words anddivided into nine parts that cover his Early Years, The Henderson Period, Europe In The '30s, Modern Jazz and much more. The heavyweight gatefold sleeve is tape reinforced along the edges and in good condition, with nice & clear photographs printed across the inner spread. Remarkably, the heavyweight vinyl looks barely played!)
