Mr P.C.

Condition :-

Sleeve:-
The sleeve grades VG-. There is tape reinforcement (not repair) to three edges; admittedly this is reasonably subtle and doesn't detract from the front cover photo, with a little light discolouration to the unlaminted back. There is no writing on the sleeve & the scalloped flipbacks are secure as well as the side flipback. There are creases to the right corners, these can be forgiven with age & the colours of this iconic front cover still shine bright & loud like a commanding note from Trane's tenor! There are some additional light ring wear creases, mild corner scuffs & some faint age marks on closer inspection. All print is clearly legible. Although not mint, this is a very pleasing example & one that should still sit proudly at the fore of any music collection.

Labels:-
These are the original red & silver London Atlantic design with a 'deep groove'. The labels are EX with with one or two tiny marks by the spindle hole to show play. The matrices in the dead wax are machine stamped:
Side 1: AML-1608-1B
Side 2: AML-1609-1B

Vinyl:-
The first press heavyweight vinyl is the star of the show here. It has a lovely deep clean shine both sides & plays beautifully with very little evidence of any background interference on its intended mono playback setting. The vinyl grades Excellent & on close inspection reveals merely a few minor signs of play. Highly recommended.
