BUD POWELL Bud Powell '57 (1981 Japanese high density, virgin vinyl issue of the 1957 9-track mono LP, accompanied by either Percy Heath or Lloyd Trotman on bass, and Max Roach or Art Blakey on drums. Released as part of the acclaimed Original Jazz Classics series, the picture sleeve replicates the original artwork and is complete with an insert in appreciation of the Verve legacy, which contains notes by Nat Hentoff. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl is flawless UMV2571)
