VARIOUS Mahogany Hall Stomp (1983 UK 15-track LP featuring music recovered from a series of television broadcasts made between 1957 & 1959, sponsored by Timex & featuring Gene Krupa, Cozy Cole, Woody Herman, Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, DukeEllington, Jack Teagarden, June Christy & Carmen McCrae. This first show was telecast live from the NBC Studios in New York, with a small segment from the Blue Note Jazz Club in Chicago on December 30th 1957, picture sleeve. The sleeve showsminimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains near 'as new' JASM2530)
