The labels:

The labels are 'deep groove' red with open, unboxed Decca and 'ffrr' logos.
There are lots of spindle marks around the centre hole to indicate a reasonable amount of play.
This is the second known label variant, with the tax code [K/T] above the side number, rather than to the right of it, although Decca employees freely admit that there were multiple typesetters of the labels and they tended to keep the sleeves in a pile, so the combination of sleeve & label is a far from exact science, with many different variations turning up.

The Vinyl:

The vinyl shows a few scuffs and mild surface hairlines, but thanks to the heavyweight vinyl of this quality sixties mono pressing, these defects are more cosmetic than significant, although occasionally they will evidence a light click. Surface noise is still very light, even between tracks.

The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the dead vinyl, they are as follows.

The Sleeve:

Apart from a small tear at the front edge, the front laminated picture sleeve has only mild shelfwear with just light signs of any edge scuffing & a little age yellowing to the reverse at the edges. Nothing unreasonable for forty five years in the wild. The spine remains clearly readable.

Upon playtesting, the quality of this early sixties pressing shines through with the disc performing even better than it looks.

A very respectable VG/VG+ copy at a great price!
