THIN LIZZY Fully Autographed Photocard (Amazing 1973 5½" x 3½" black and white photocard of the band that has been FULLY AUTOGRAPHED on the back by Phil[ip] Lynott, Brian Downey & Eric Bell. Dating from the 'Shades Of A Blue Orphanage' tour, this wonderful curio was signed at their gig on 20th December 1973 at City Hall in Cork, Ireland. Having seen both the 'Live And Dangerous' period Lizzy & also the Eric Bell Band, I can only guess as to the events that night, when Lizzy happily operated as a three piece. This was a strange time for Lizzy anyway, as Brian Downey was recovering from a recent hand injury and the two preceding gigs had to be cancelled. As it was, some of the gigs in the earlier parts of the Irish leg of this tour ended up employing two drummers, with Brian playing with his right hand and extra drummer Pearce Kelly playing the fills. This may indeed have contibuted to the strain that was to see Eric Bell leave the band less than a dozen gigs later, to be temporarily & [for a short time] later permanently replaced by Gary Moore. A snapshot in time that will never be repeated and a Lizzy curio that is unique and a bit special)
