THEM Them (1965 UK 14-track deep groove mono LP on the red unboxed Decca label. Prepare yourself for a slab of growling R&B that'll knock your socks off. Van the Man excels himself on this outstanding debut that treats your ears & feet to standout tracks like Gloria, Don'tLook Back & the R&B standard Bright Lights Big City. Getting down to brass tacks, the front laminated 'James Upton' sleeve reveals only one faint corner crease [it really is right in the corner] & just some mild age yellowing creeping in on the back at the edges. It's a wonderful example. The vinyl is clean & sounds amazing, proving that sixties pressings truly are a thing of beauty! With just a few minor spindle or faint paper scuffs not affecting play, this is a remarkable copy in Excellent condition LK4700)
