Obtained from a one previous owner collection of original blues, R&B, & early rock treasures, this copy is only just now seeing the light of day.

The heavy duty pasted picture sleeve sports the usual signs of vintage for a US LP jacket. There is some obvious paper scuffing along the top & bottom edges. There does happen to be a 2" seam split at the bottom caused by the sheer weight of the vinyl [if not the music!]. In the grand scheme, these blemishes are minor. All text is clearly legible, especially along the spine. The back cover remains a nice off white & the rear panel even retains a historic '46/-' price sticker. Apart from the split mentioned, it makes for a lovely, vintage VG- copy. US sixties originals rarely find their way to us, whatsoever.

The labels reveal hardly any spindle wear, indicating very little play in its life. Play testing this record was a real treat. Background surface was kept to a minimum & playback is thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. There are a few visible light paper scuffs & the odd faint scratch which can't be felt, but otherwise this is such a pleasing VG/VG+ example. Yours truly would like one for himself!

A serious recommendation for the dedicated blues scholar & collector alike.
