Montreux Summit Volume 1

VARIOUS Montreux Summit Volume 1 (1977 Japanese promotional sample 6-track double LP, recorded live at the Jazz Festival that year, a stellar session where the old guard met the new fusion stars & blended their artistry in a way that all imagined boundaries became irrelevant. These musicians can play and they proved it very convincingly here. The list of artists that combined for this treat for the ears are far too numerous to mention here, but can be found in the 'More Info' section below. The gatefold sleeve, with Japanese insert, shows only a bit of light foxing inside & the vinyl looks barely touched, complete with obi 40AP828~9)
