DMITRI SHOSTAKOVICH Symphony No. 2 'October Revolution' / Cello Concerto No. 1 (1969 US stereo LP featuring recordings made in Russia by Melodiya. The first side featues the Leningrad Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with the Chorus of the Krupskaya Institute perfoming Symphony No. 2 in B Major, conducted by Igor Blazhkov. The second side is devoted to Concerto No. 1 for Cello & Orchestra in E Flat Major, featuring Mikhail Khomitser on Cello, with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestraconducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky. The textured pasted picture sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play SR-40099)
