JOHN LEE HOOKER Travelin' - 1st (1960 US mono 12-track vinyl LP with 'VeeJay 601478' in the run out groove, heavyweight pasted picture sleeve. Classic Hooker album that saw him update his sound with a full band set-up, includes Canal Street Blues, Whiskey And Wimmen, Goin' To California - deep blues one and all, not afraid to detail life in all its ragged glory! The picture sleeve [and what a picture sleeve it is!] shows only minor wear; some slight discolouration to the reverse with one tiny pen mark in the bottom right hand corner, the vinyl is superb, just the odd light scuff and plays beautifully - a top copy and the first we've ever had VJLP1023)
