DIZZY GILLESPIE Dizzy In Greece (1957 US 10-track deep groove mono LP on the black & silver 'trumpeter' label, documenting Dizzy & a showstopping band winning over an Athens crowd, many of whom would have been students previously involved in anti-American riots of May, 1956. The pasted sleeve has Greek titles on the back & recounts Dizzy on tour receiving a new outfit in Dacca & exchanging trumpet lessons for a cigarette case in Turkey! Both the sleeve & vinyl are in stunning near mint condition MGV-8017)
