AL STEWART / FOTHERINGAY / MICHAEL CHAPMAN / COLOSSEUM / SOFT MACHINE / DEEP PURPLE / MIGHTY BABY A Peter Bowyer Presentation (Wonderful 1970 UK 8" x 10" programme for the week long 'Festival Of Progressive Music' held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London in May that year. Al Stewart was touring 'Love Chronicles' and opened the festival with an early set at 6:15, followed at 9PM by the incredible Fotheringay with Sandy Denny, ably supported by the 'Fully Qualified Survivor', Michael Chapman. The next day saw Colosseum, who played both the early & late set slots, as did Soft Machine the following day. The final day saw Deep Purple headlining with Mighty Baby as support. Had I been able, I would probably have gone to every night. An eclectic gathering to be sure, but all quality. This particular programme also has pairs of ticket stubs for Saturday 23rd evening performance & a pair for Monday 25th's early performance. This copy remains in remarkable condition for forty five year old paper goods & is free from any tears or writing)
