Shea Stadium Unused Ticket

THE BEATLES Shea Stadium Unused Ticket (Extremely rare original 1966 ticket for their concert performance at Shea Stadium in Flushing, New York at 7:30PM on Tuesday August 23rd that year. Just four more concert dates later and that was the end of any Beatles live shows until their one off appearance on the roof of the Apple building on 30th January 1969. This ticket is unused and retains the ticket stub, making it very special. It was sourced from the personal collection of Pete Nash,Editor of the Beatles Fan Club Magazine & contributor to the Beatles Monthly Magazines, so its provenance is beyond doubt. Printed on card stock and perforated just left of centre, the ticket measures just over 6" by 1½" & retains crisp print with just a little age yellowing to the paper stock evident after nearly fifty years. The corners are still sharp and the perforations still near 'as new' - A fantastic piece worthy of display)
